The book tour of Senator Chuck Schumer postponed in the midst of the controversy financing vote

The three planned events of the book tour of the Chuck Schumer Senate leader scheduled for this week have postponed abruptly from Monday morning.

Schumer, promoting his new book “Anti -Semitism in the United States: a warning”, has faced a violent reaction about the vote of the Government’s Financing Law approved by the Chamber that avoided a closure on Friday. Many Democrats, including the progressives, had wanted him to vote against the bill and protest more against the agendas of President Donald Trump and the Republicans of the Congress.

Schumer had planned events in Baltimore, New York and Washington, DC, this week. Protests were planned outside the three events.

The Senate Democratic leader, Chuck Schumer, offers a television interview, at the Washington Capitol on March 14, 2025.
